Spring has sprung

Today was the perfect day to venture out of the office and onto the new bike trail that follows Eveland Road to Route 404. The beautiful tall pines were inviting and the sounds of the frogs were delightful. This trail is unique because you will find lots of native plants but also signs that a person once lived there, in the forms of daffodils, English ivy, a foundation of a building and blooming forsythia. There is an outstanding colony of Diphasiastrum digitatum, or groundcedar, to the left on the trail facing Route 404 under some shade trees!
